<망각 Oblivion>

이 작품은 기억, 손상, 존재의 흔적에 대해 매체의 한계를 예술적 재료로 전환하여 새로운 의미를 부여하였다. 

기억의 저장소로 기능하던 디스크가 훼손되고 변형된 모습을 통해 존재의 지워짐, 소멸되고 잊혀지는지를 시각적으로 형상화 한 작업이다. 

휴지케이스에서 휴지가 풀려 나오듯 기억은 망각이라는 실체가 훼손된 CD로 표현되고 휴지케이스는 뇌라는 구조로 사용되었다.

This work transforms the limitations of the medium into artistic material to give new meaning to memory, damage, and traces of existence. 

By visually representing the destruction and deformation of disks that once functioned as repositories of memory, it explores the erasure, disappearance, and forgetting of existence.

Just as tissue is pulled from a tissue box, memory is expressed through damaged CDs symbolizing the reality of oblivion, while the tissue box serves as the structure of the brain.
